Mainstream Curriculum

Northside College is an independent shool which follows a mainstream curriculum as outlined by the Department of Education.

The school caters for Grade 8 and 9 learners and the following subjects are offered:

  • Afrikaans First Additional Language

  • Mathematics

  • Life Orientation

  • Natural Sciences

  • Social Sciences

  • Economic Management Sciences

  • Arts and Culture

  • Technology

Teacher - Pupil Ratio

The teacher-pupil ratio caters for smaller classes, enabling the staff to focus on the individual. Progress is monitored on a regular basis and feedback given to parents and pupils at parental contact meetings.
